  3. to Dear M,
thanks for the comment, yes, you are right, it is rice and white lentil cakes, called idly and green thing is called chutney, there is no avocado, it is a kind of deep not too watery, to be made out of grated coconut, green chillies and corriandar leaves. This dish is very common breakfast dish in southern part of India. The language in which I write my recipes is called Marathi, which is spoken in Maharashtra, Mumbai,
western Region of India, I write these recipes for my daughter who is away from home for education purpose. Thanks once again.
I had visited Sweden 20 years back, as my husband works on a ship.

  4. Thank you very much for answering my questions so well! As I do not know much at all about India, I am very curious. I haven't yet been to an indian restaurant, but I sure will.

  6. Glad to see that you found my blog! If you look again you will find the Google Translator on the upper left side. There are a lot of languages you can translate into. Maybe not Marathi, but at least English. You just put the button and there it goes! The only thing is that the translator is not so good all the time. You will get some good laughs when you read it. Some Swedish words it can't translate and some of the Swedish words look exactly like an English, but does not at all mean the same. But in spite of that, you can at least understand what it is al about.
