Keshari Bhaat


आज केशरी भात बनवला, तुम्हाला पहायला फोटो टाकला आहे. aajach लिहायला सुरुवात केली आहेतुम्हाला आवडेल अशी अपेक्षा करते.

    this is called keshari bhaat, i.e. sweet saffron rice made in India for many festivals. recipe is very simple and easy to make.

    one cup long grain Indian Basmati rice, 2 cloves,2 green cardamoms, little saffron soaked in hot water or milk, yellow food color, 3/4 cup sugar, little oil to fry rice.

    wash and drain rice two hours before going for the recipe, add little oil in a pan, add cloves cardamom and fry the rice for a minute, add 2 cups of water, preferably hot, let the rice get cooked, take care of not breaking the rice grains, while rice is 3/4 done add sugar,dry fruits as per your taste, add saffron and food color,i hope u will like it.
